Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 11.0.19 and earlier, 15.006.30280 and earlier, 15.023.20070 and earlier have an exploitable memory corruption vulnerability in the image conversion engine, related to parsing of JPEG files. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution.
Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 11.0.19 and earlier, 15.006.30280 and earlier, 15.023.20070 and earlier have an exploitable memory corruption vulnerability in the JBIG2 image compression module. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution.
Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 11.0.19 and earlier, 15.006.30280 and earlier, 15.023.20070 and earlier have an exploitable memory corruption vulnerability in the image conversion module, related to processing of TIFF files. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution.
Video driver in Huawei P9 phones with software versions before EVA-AL10C00B192 and Huawei Honor 6 phones with software versions before H60-L02_6.10.1 has a stack overflow vulnerability, which allows attackers to crash the system or escalate user privilege.
Heap-based buffer overflow in the decode_block function in libavcodec/exr.c in FFmpeg before 3.1.3 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via vectors involving tile positions.
Stack-based buffer overflow in nvhost_job.c in the NVIDIA video driver for Android, Shield TV before OTA 3.3, Shield Table before OTA 4.4, and Shield Table TK1 before OTA 1.5.
Touch Panel (TP) driver in Huawei NEM phones with software Versions before NEM-AL10C00B130, Versions before NEM-UL10C17B160, Versions before NEM-UL10C00B160, Versions before NEM-TL00C01B160 allows attackers to get root privilege or crash the system or execute arbitrary code, related to a buffer overflow.
Binaries compiled against targets that use the libssp library in GCC for stack smashing protection (SSP) might allow local users to perform buffer overflow attacks by leveraging lack of the Object Size Checking feature.
Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 11.0.19 and earlier, 15.006.30280 and earlier, 15.023.20070 and earlier have an exploitable memory corruption vulnerability when manipulating PDF annotations. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution.
Integer overflow in the BMP coder in ImageMagick before 7.0.2-10 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via crafted height and width values, which triggers an out-of-bounds write.
Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 11.0.19 and earlier, 15.006.30280 and earlier, 15.023.20070 and earlier have an exploitable memory corruption vulnerability in the renderer functionality. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution.
Multiple buffer overflows in the Autodesk FBX-SDK before 2017.1 can allow attackers to execute arbitrary code when reading or converting malformed DFX format files.
tcpdump before 4.9.3 has a heap-based buffer over-read related to aoe_print in print-aoe.c and lookup_emem in addrtoname.c.
Heap overflow in the WaveletDenoiseImage function in MagickCore/fx.c in ImageMagick before 6.9.6-4 and 7.x before 7.0.3-6 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a crafted image.
XnView Classic for Windows Version 2.40 might allow attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted .rle file, related to "Data from Faulting Address controls Branch Selection starting at ntdll_77df0000!RtlpCreateSplitBlock+0x000000000000053a."
The ATM parser in tcpdump before 4.9.0 has a buffer overflow in print-atm.c:sig_print().
The dwarf_get_aranges_list function in dwarf_arrange.c in Libdwarf before 20161124 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read).
Heap-based buffer overflow in the _dwarf_skim_forms function in libdwarf/dwarf_macro5.c in Libdwarf before 20161124 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read).
libcurl may read outside of a heap allocated buffer when doing FTP. When libcurl connects to an FTP server and successfully logs in (anonymous or not), it asks the server for the current directory with the `PWD` command. The server then responds with a 257 response containing the path, inside double quotes. The returned path name is then kept by libcurl for subsequent uses. Due to a flaw in the string parser for this directory name, a directory name passed like this but without a closing double quote would lead to libcurl not adding a trailing NUL byte to the buffer holding the name. When libcurl would then later access the string, it could read beyond the allocated heap buffer and crash or wrongly access data beyond the buffer, thinking it was part of the path. A malicious server could abuse this fact and effectively prevent libcurl-based clients to work with it - the PWD command is always issued on new FTP connections and the mistake has a high chance of causing a segfault. The simple fact that this has issue remained undiscovered for this long could suggest that malformed PWD responses are rare in benign servers. We are not aware of any exploit of this flaw. This bug was introduced in commit [415d2e7cb7](https://github.com/curl/curl/commit/415d2e7cb7), March 2005. In libcurl version 7.56.0, the parser always zero terminates the string but also rejects it if not terminated properly with a final double quote.
Buffer overflow in the printMP3Headers function in listmp3.c in Libming 0.4.7 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read) via a crafted mp3 file.
