CVSS v3.1 |
In kedro-org/kedro version 0.19.8, the `pull_package()` API function allows users to download and extract micro packages from the Internet. However, the function `project_wheel_metadata()` within the code path can execute the `setup.py` file inside the tar file, leading to remote code execution (RCE) by running arbitrary commands on the victim's machine.
A code injection vulnerability in HMS Networks Ewon Flexy 205 allows executing commands on system level on the device. This issue affects Ewon Flexy 205: through 14.8s0 (#2633).
PyVista provides 3D plotting and mesh analysis through an interface for the Visualization Toolkit (VTK). Version 0.46.3 of the PyVista Project is vulnerable to remote code execution via dependency confusion. Two pieces of code use`--extra-index-url`. But when `--extra-index-url` is used, pip always checks for the PyPI index first, and then the external index. One package listed in the code is not published in PyPI. If an attacker publishes a package with higher version in PyPI, the malicious code from the attacker controlled package may be pulled, leading to remote code execution and a supply chain attack. As of time of publication, a patched version is unavailable.
User-controlled input flows to an unsafe implementation of a dynamic Function constructor, allowing network attackers to run arbitrary unsandboxed JS code in the context of the host, by sending a simple POST request.
A backdoor in PHPStudy versions 2016 through 2018 allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code on affected installations. The backdoor listens for base64-encoded PHP payloads in the Accept-Charset HTTP header of incoming requests, decodes and executes the payload without proper validation. This leads to remote code execution as the web server user, compromising the affected system.
htags in GNU Global through 6.6.12 allows code execution in situations where dbpath (aka -d) is untrusted, because shell metacharacters may be used.
Gardyn Home Kit firmware before master.619, Home Kit Mobile Application before 2.11.0, and Home Kit Cloud API before 2.12.2026 allow command injection through vulnerable methods that do not sanitize input before passing content to the operating system for execution. The vulnerability may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary operating system commands on a target Home Kit.
Gardyn Home Kit firmware before master.619, Home Kit Mobile Application before 2.11.0, and Home Kit Cloud API before 2.12.2026 use weak default credentials for secure shell access. This may result in attackers gaining access to exposed Gardyn Home Kits.
An issue in the component segwindrvx64.sys of Insyde Software Corp SEG Windows Driver v100.00.07.02 allows attackers to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code via sending crafted IOCTL requests.
The tagDiv Composer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Instantiation in all versions up to, and including, 5.3 via module parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to Instantiate a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present.
A malicious third party could invoke a persistent denial of service vulnerability in FireEye EDR agent by sending a specially-crafted tamper protection event to the HX service to trigger an exception. This exception will prevent any further tamper protection events from being processed, even after a reboot of HX.
A code injection vulnerability exists in the huggingface/text-generation-inference repository, specifically within the `autodocs.yml` workflow file. The vulnerability arises from the insecure handling of the `github.head_ref` user input, which is used to dynamically construct a command for installing a software package. An attacker can exploit this by forking the repository, creating a branch with a malicious payload as the name, and then opening a pull request to the base repository. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution within the context of the GitHub Actions runner. This issue affects versions up to and including v2.0.0 and was fixed in version 2.0.0.
An issue was identified in the Identity Security Cloud (ISC) Transform preview and IdentityProfile preview API endpoints that allowed an authenticated administrator to execute user-defined templates as part of attribute transforms which could allow remote code execution on the host.
Smarty is a template engine for PHP, facilitating the separation of presentation (HTML/CSS) from application logic. In affected versions template authors could inject php code by choosing a malicious file name for an extends-tag. Sites that cannot fully trust template authors should update asap. All users are advised to update. There is no patch for users on the v3 branch. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
KeePass Password Safe versions before 2.44 contain a denial of service vulnerability in the help system's HTML handling. Attackers can trigger the vulnerability by dragging and dropping malicious HTML files into the help area, potentially causing application instability or crash.
systeminformation is a System and OS information library for node.js. In affected versions SSIDs are not sanitized when before they are passed as a parameter to cmd.exe in the `getWindowsIEEE8021x` function. This means that malicious content in the SSID can be executed as OS commands. This vulnerability may enable an attacker, depending on how the package is used, to perform remote code execution or local privilege escalation. This issue has been addressed in version 5.23.7 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
langchain-ai v0.3.51 was discovered to contain an indirect prompt injection vulnerability in the GmailToolkit component. This vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary code and compromise the application via a crafted email message. NOTE: this is disputed by the Supplier because the code-execution issue was introduced by user-written code that does not adhere to the LangChain security practices.
| A security flaw in Node.js allows a bypass of network import restrictions.
By embedding non-network imports in data URLs, an attacker can execute arbitrary code, compromising system security.
Verified on various platforms, the vulnerability is mitigated by forbidding data URLs in network imports.
Exploiting this flaw can violate network import security, posing a risk to developers and servers. |
A security vulnerability has been detected in Cudy TR1200 1.16.3-20230804-164635. Impacted is an unknown function of the file /cgi-bin/luci/admin/network/wireless/config/ of the component Wireless Settings Page. Such manipulation of the argument SSID leads to cross site scripting. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
From the VSPC management agent machine, under condition that the management agent is authorized on the server, it is possible to perform Remote Code Execution (RCE) on the VSPC server machine.
