CVSS v3.1 |
| Dotmesh is a git-like command-line interface for capturing, organizing and sharing application states. In versions 0.8.1 and prior, the unsafe handling of symbolic links in an unpacking routine may
enable attackers to read and/or write to arbitrary locations outside the
designated target folder. The routine `untarFile` attempts to guard against creating symbolic links that point outside the directory a tar archive is extracted to. However, a malicious tarball first linking `subdir/parent` to `..` (allowed, because `subdir/..` falls within the archive root) and then linking `subdir/parent/escapes` to `..` results in a symbolic link pointing to the tarball’s parent directory, contrary to the routine’s goals. This issue may lead to arbitrary file write (with same permissions as the program running the unpack operation) if the attacker can control the archive file. Additionally, if the attacker has read access to the unpacked files, they may be able to read arbitrary system files the parent process has permissions to read. As of time of publication, no patch for this issue is available.

| A serial interface can be accessed with physical access to the PCB of Wattsense Bridge devices. After connecting to the interface, access to the bootloader is possible, as well as a Linux login prompt. The bootloader access can be used to gain a root shell on the device. This issue is fixed in recent firmware versions BSP >= 6.4.1. |
| Under certain circumstances the iSTAR Configuration Utility (ICU) tool could have a buffer overflow issue |
| Buffer Copy without Checking Size of Input ('Classic Buffer Overflow') vulnerability in Secomea GateManager (webserver modules) allows crash of GateManager. This issue affects GateManager: from 9.7 before 11.2.624095033.
|
| Affected Vertiv products contain a stack based buffer overflow vulnerability. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain code execution on the device. |
| NetPCLinker 1.0.0.0 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the Clients Control Panel DNS/IP field that allows attackers to execute arbitrary shellcode. Attackers can craft a malicious payload in the DNS/IP input to overwrite SEH handlers and execute shellcode when adding a new client. |
| Remote Desktop Audit 2.3.0.157 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code during the Add Computers Wizard file import process. Attackers can craft a malicious payload file to trigger a structured exception handler (SEH) bypass and execute shellcode when importing computer lists. |
| CloudMe 1.11.2 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through crafted network packets. Attackers can exploit the vulnerability by sending a specially crafted payload to the CloudMe service running on port 8888, enabling remote code execution. |
| Code Blocks 17.12 contains a local buffer overflow vulnerability that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by crafting a malicious file name with Unicode characters. Attackers can trigger the vulnerability by pasting a specially crafted payload into the file name field during project creation, potentially executing system commands like calc.exe. |
| RM Downloader 2.50.60 contains a local buffer overflow vulnerability in the 'Load' parameter that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by overwriting memory. Attackers can craft a malicious payload with an egg hunter technique to bypass memory protections and execute commands like launching calc.exe. |
| KubePi is a K8s panel. Starting in version 1.6.3 and prior to version 1.8.0, there is a defect in the KubePi JWT token verification. The JWT key in the default configuration file is empty. Although a random 32-bit string will be generated to overwrite the key in the configuration file when the key is detected to be empty in the configuration file reading logic, the key is empty during actual verification. Using an empty key to generate a JWT token can bypass the login verification and directly take over the back end. Version 1.8.0 contains a patch for this issue. |
| Talkative IRC v0.4.4.16 is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow when processing specially crafted response strings sent to a connected client. An attacker can exploit this flaw by sending an overly long message that overflows a fixed-length buffer, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution in the context of the vulnerable process. This vulnerability is exploitable remotely and does not require authentication. |
| Horner Automation Cscape contains a memory corruption vulnerability, which
could allow an attacker to disclose information and execute arbitrary
code. |
| Improper access control on the NetScaler Management Interface in NetScaler ADC and NetScaler Gateway when an attacker can get access to the appliance NSIP, Cluster Management IP or local GSLB Site IP or SNIP with Management Access |
| PCMan FTP Server 2.0 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the 'pwd' command that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. Attackers can send a specially crafted payload during the FTP login process to overwrite memory and potentially gain system access. |
| Heap-based Buffer Overflow and Uninitialized Variable vulnerabilities exist in the X_B and SAT file reading procedure in eDrawings from Release SOLIDWORKS 2024 through Release SOLIDWORKS 2025. These vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code while opening a specially crafted X_B or SAT file. |
| libsmb2 6.2+ is vulnerable to Buffer Overflow. When processing SMB2 chained PDUs (NextCommand), libsmb2 repeatedly calls smb2_add_iovector() to append to a fixed-size iovec array without checking the upper bound of v->niov (SMB2_MAX_VECTORS=256). An attacker can craft responses with many chained PDUs to overflow v->niov and perform heap out-of-bounds writes, causing memory corruption, crashes, and potentially arbitrary code execution. The SMB2_OPLOCK_BREAK path bypasses message ID validation. |
| An E-RAB Release Command packet containing a malformed NAS PDU will cause the Athonet MME to immediately crash, potentially due to a buffer overflow. |
| Audio Conversion Wizard v2.01 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by overwriting memory with a specially crafted registration code. Attackers can generate a payload that overwrites the application's memory stack, potentially enabling remote code execution through a carefully constructed input buffer. |
| n affected platforms running Arista EOS, ACL policies may not be enforced. IPv4 ingress ACL, MAC ingress ACL, or IPv6 standard ingress ACL enabled on one or more ethernet or LAG interfaces may result in ACL policies not being enforced for ingress packets. This can cause incoming packets to incorrectly be allowed or denied. The two symptoms of this issue on the affected release and platform are:
* Packets which should be permitted may be dropped and,
* Packets which should be dropped may be permitted. |
