CVSS v3.1 |
| Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in Apache Tomcat.
This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.0-M20, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.24, from 9.0.13 through 9.0.89.
The following versions were EOL at the time the CVE was created but are
known to be affected: 8.5.35 through 8.5.100 and 7.0.92 through 7.0.109. Other EOL versions may also be affected.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.0-M21, 10.1.25, or 9.0.90, which fixes the issue.
Apache Tomcat, under certain configurations on any platform, allows an attacker to cause an OutOfMemoryError by abusing the TLS handshake process. |
| libmodbus v3.1.6 was discovered to contain a use-after-free via the ctx->backend pointer. This vulnerability allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted message sent to the unit-test-server. |
| libmodbus v3.1.6 was discovered to contain a heap overflow via the modbus_mapping_free() function. |
| FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. FreeRDP based clients prior to version 3.5.1 are vulnerable to a possible `NULL` access and crash. Version 3.5.1 contains a patch for the issue. No known workarounds are available. |
| FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to version 3.5.1, a malicious server can crash the FreeRDP client by sending invalid huge allocation size. Version 3.5.1 contains a patch for the issue. No known workarounds are available. |
| FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. FreeRDP based based clients using `/bpp:32` legacy `GDI` drawing path with a version of FreeRDP prior to 3.5.0 or 2.11.6 are vulnerable to out-of-bounds read. Versions 3.5.0 and 2.11.6 patch the issue. As a workaround, use modern drawing paths (e.g. `/rfx` or `/gfx` options). The workaround requires server side support. |
| FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. FreeRDP based clients that use a version of FreeRDP prior to 3.5.0 or 2.11.6 and have connections to servers using the `NSC` codec are vulnerable to integer underflow. Versions 3.5.0 and 2.11.6 patch the issue. As a workaround, do not use the NSC codec (e.g. use `-nsc`). |
| aiohttp is an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. In affected versions an attacker can send a specially crafted POST (multipart/form-data) request. When the aiohttp server processes it, the server will enter an infinite loop and be unable to process any further requests. An attacker can stop the application from serving requests after sending a single request. This issue has been addressed in version 3.9.4. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade may manually apply a patch to their systems. Please see the linked GHSA for instructions. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fs/ntfs3: Fixed overflow check in mi_enum_attr() |
| Squid is a web proxy cache. Starting in version 3.5.27 and prior to version 6.8, Squid may be vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack against HTTP Chunked decoder due to an uncontrolled recursion bug. This problem allows a remote attacker to cause Denial of Service when sending a crafted, chunked, encoded HTTP Message. This bug is fixed in Squid version 6.8. In addition, patches addressing this problem for the stable releases can be found in Squid's patch archives. There is no workaround for this issue. |
| Heap-based Buffer Overflow in GitHub repository vim/vim prior to 9.0.1969. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
IORING_OP_READ did not correctly consume the provided buffer list when
read i/o returned < 0 (except for -EAGAIN and -EIOCBQUEUED return).
This can lead to a potential use-after-free when the completion via
io_rw_done runs at separate context. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: aspeed: Fix memory overwrite if timing is 1600x900
When capturing 1600x900, system could crash when system memory usage is
tight.
The way to reproduce this issue:
1. Use 1600x900 to display on host
2. Mount ISO through 'Virtual media' on OpenBMC's web
3. Run script as below on host to do sha continuously
#!/bin/bash
while [ [1] ];
do
find /media -type f -printf '"%h/%f"\n' | xargs sha256sum
done
4. Open KVM on OpenBMC's web
The size of macro block captured is 8x8. Therefore, we should make sure
the height of src-buf is 8 aligned to fix this issue. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mac80211: fix potential key use-after-free
When ieee80211_key_link() is called by ieee80211_gtk_rekey_add()
but returns 0 due to KRACK protection (identical key reinstall),
ieee80211_gtk_rekey_add() will still return a pointer into the
key, in a potential use-after-free. This normally doesn't happen
since it's only called by iwlwifi in case of WoWLAN rekey offload
which has its own KRACK protection, but still better to fix, do
that by returning an error code and converting that to success on
the cfg80211 boundary only, leaving the error for bad callers of
ieee80211_gtk_rekey_add(). |
| Heap-based Buffer Overflow in GitHub repository vim/vim prior to 9.0.1873. |
| Use After Free in GitHub repository vim/vim prior to 9.0.1858. |
| Heap-based Buffer Overflow in GitHub repository vim/vim prior to 9.0.1848. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in CP-8031 MASTER MODULE (All versions < CPCI85 V05), CP-8050 MASTER MODULE (All versions < CPCI85 V05). The web interface of affected devices is vulnerable to command injection due to missing server side input sanitation. This could allow an authenticated privileged remote attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges. |
| Integer Overflow or Wraparound in GitHub repository vim/vim prior to 9.0.1532. |
| org-babel-execute:latex in ob-latex.el in Org Mode through 9.6.1 for GNU Emacs allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a file name or directory name that contains shell metacharacters. |
