CVSS v3.1 |
| An Improper Control of a Resource Through its Lifetime vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an unauthenticated network-based attacker to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS).
On devices with SRv6 (Segment Routing over IPv6) enabled, an attacker can send a malformed BGP UPDATE packet which will cause the rpd to crash and restart. Continued receipt of these UPDATE packets will cause a sustained DoS condition.
This issue affects iBGP and eBGP, and both IPv4 and IPv6 are affected by this vulnerability.This issue affects Junos OS:
* All versions before 21.2R3-S9,
* from 21.4 before 21.4R3-S10,

| The application fails to implement several security headers. These headers help increase the overall security level of the web application by e.g., preventing the application to be displayed in an iFrame (Clickjacking attacks) or not executing injected malicious JavaScript code (XSS attacks). |
| A vulnerability has been found in Astun Technology iShare Maps 5.4.0 and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file atCheckJS.aspx. The manipulation of the argument ref leads to open redirect. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| An Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key vulnerability allows a locally authenticated attacker with shell access to gain full control of the device when Dual Routing Engines (REs) are in use on Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved devices.
This issue affects:
Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved with dual-REs:
* All versions before 21.2R3-S8-EVO,
* from 21.4-EVO before 21.4R3-S8-EVO,
* from 22.2-EVO before 22.2R3-S4-EVO,
* from 22.3-EVO before 22.3R3-S4-EVO,

This issue does not affect Juniper Networks Junos OS. |
| There is an Open Redirect vulnerability in Gnuboard v6.0.4 and below via the `url` parameter in login path. |
| Improper Restriction of XML External Entity Reference vulnerability in Apache SIS.
It is possible to write XML files in such a way that, when parsed by Apache SIS, an XML file reveals to the attacker the content of a local file on the server running Apache SIS. This vulnerability impacts the following SIS services:
* Reading of GeoTIFF files having the GEO_METADATA tag defined by the Defense Geospatial Information Working Group (DGIWG).
* Parsing of ISO 19115 metadata in XML format.
* Parsing of Coordinate Reference Systems defined in the GML format.
* Parsing of files in GPS Exchange Format (GPX).
This issue affects Apache SIS from versions 0.4 through 1.5 inclusive. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.6, which will fix the issue. In the meantime, the security vulnerability can be avoided by launching Java with the javax.xml.accessExternalDTD system property sets to a comma-separated list of authorized protocols. For example:
java -Djavax.xml.accessExternalDTD="" ... |
| A Reachable Assertion vulnerability in the Routing Protocol Daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS).
When the device receives a specific BGP UPDATE packet, the rpd crashes and restarts. Continuous receipt of this specific packet will cause a sustained DoS condition.
For the issue to occur, BGP multipath with "pause-computation-during-churn" must be configured on the device, and the attacker must send the paths via a BGP UPDATE from a established BGP peer.
This issue affects:
Junos OS:
* All versions before 21.4R3-S7,
* from 22.3 before 22.3R3-S3,
* from 22.4 before 22.4R3-S5,
* from 23.2 before 23.2R2,
* from 23.4 before 23.4R2.
Junos OS Evolved:
* All versions before 21.4R3-S7-EVO,
* from 22.3 before 22.3R3-S3-EVO,
* from 22.4 before 22.4R3-S5-EVO,
* from 23.2 before 23.2R2-EVO,
* from 23.4 before 23.4R2-EVO. |
| A Reachable Assertion vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an adjacent, unauthenticated attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS).On all Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved devices, when route validation is enabled, a rare condition during BGP initial session establishment can lead to an rpd crash and restart. This occurs specifically when the connection request fails during error-handling scenario.
Continued session establishment failures leads to a sustained DoS condition.
This issue affects Junos OS:
* All versions before 22.2R3-S6,
* from 22.4 before 22.4R3-S6,
* from 23.2 before 23.2R2-S3,
* from 23.4 before 23.4R2-S4,
* from 24.2 before 24.2R2;
Junos OS Evolved:
* All versions before 22.2R3-S6-EVO,
* from 22.4 before 22.4R3-S6-EVO,
* from 23.2 before 23.2R2-S3-EVO,
* from 23.4 before 23.4R2-S4-EVO,
* from 24.2 before 24.2R2-EVO. |
| A Protection Mechanism Failure vulnerability in kernel filter processing of Juniper Networks Junos OS allows an attacker sending IPv6 traffic destined to the device to effectively bypass any firewall filtering configured on the interface.
Due to an issue with Junos OS kernel filter processing, the 'payload-protocol' match is not being supported, causing any term containing it to accept all packets without taking any other action. In essence, these firewall filter terms were being processed as an 'accept' for all traffic on the interface destined for the control plane, even when used in combination with other match criteria.
This issue only affects firewall filters protecting the device's control plane. Transit firewall filtering is unaffected by this vulnerability.
This issue affects Junos OS:
* all versions before 21.2R3-S9,
* from 21.4 before 21.4R3-S11,
* from 22.2 before 22.2R3-S7,
* from 22.4 before 22.4R3-S7,
* from 23.2 before 23.2R2-S4,
* from 23.4 before 23.4R2-S5,
* from 24.2 before 24.2R2-S1,
* from 24.4 before 24.4R1-S2, 24.4R2.
This is a more complete fix for previously published CVE-2024-21607 (JSA75748). |
| An Exposure of Resource to Wrong Sphere vulnerability in the sampling service of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved allows an unauthenticated network-based attacker to send arbitrary data to the device, which leads msvcsd process to crash with limited availability impacting Denial of Service (DoS) and allows unauthorized network access to the device, potentially impacting system integrity.
This issue only happens when inline jflow is configured.
This does not impact any forwarding traffic. The impacted services MSVCS-DB app crashes momentarily and recovers by itself.
This issue affects Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved:
* 21.4 versions earlier than 21.4R3-S7-EVO;
* 22.2 versions earlier than 22.2R3-S3-EVO;
* 22.3 versions earlier than 22.3R3-S2-EVO;
* 22.4 versions earlier than 22.4R3-EVO;
* 23.2 versions earlier than 23.2R1-S2-EVO, 23.2R2-EVO. |
| An Incorrect Comparison vulnerability in the local address verification API of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved allows an unauthenticated network-adjacent attacker to create sessions or send traffic to the device using the network and broadcast address of the subnet assigned to an interface. This is unintended and unexpected behavior and can allow an attacker to bypass certain compensating controls, such as stateless firewall filters.
This issue affects Junos OS Evolved:
* All versions before 21.4R3-S8-EVO,
* 22.2-EVO before 22.2R3-S4-EVO,
* 22.3-EVO before 22.3R3-S4-EVO,
* 22.4-EVO before 22.4R3-S3-EVO,
* 23.2-EVO before 23.2R2-S1-EVO,
* 23.4-EVO before 23.4R1-S2-EVO, 23.4R2-EVO. |
| An open redirect vulnerability was found in Keycloak. A specially crafted URL can be constructed where the referrer and referrer_uri parameters are made to trick a user to visit a malicious webpage. A trusted URL can trick users and automation into believing that the URL is safe, when, in fact, it redirects to a malicious server. This issue can result in a victim inadvertently trusting the destination of the redirect, potentially leading to a successful phishing attack or other types of attacks.
Once a crafted URL is made, it can be sent to a Keycloak admin via email for example. This will trigger this vulnerability when the user visits the page and clicks the link. A malicious actor can use this to target users they know are Keycloak admins for further attacks. It may also be possible to bypass other domain-related security checks, such as supplying this as a OAuth redirect uri. The malicious actor can further obfuscate the redirect_uri using URL encoding, to hide the text of the actual malicious website domain. |
| An Improper Isolation or Compartmentalization vulnerability in the Packet Forwarding Engine (pfe) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on QFX5000 Series and EX Series allows an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS).
If a specific malformed LACP packet is received by a QFX5000 Series, or an EX4400, EX4100 or EX4650 Series device, an LACP flap will occur resulting in traffic loss.

| OPEXUS FOIAXpress Public Access Link (PAL) version v11.1.0 allows attackers to bypass account-lockout and CAPTCHA protections. Unauthenticated remote attackers can more easily brute force passwords. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ext4: remove a BUG_ON in ext4_mb_release_group_pa()
If a malicious fuzzer overwrites the ext4 superblock while it is
mounted such that the s_first_data_block is set to a very large
number, the calculation of the block group can underflow, and trigger
a BUG_ON check. Change this to be an ext4_warning so that we don't
crash the kernel. |
| A static password reset token in the password reset function of DDSN Interactive Acora CMS v10.7.1 allows attackers to arbitrarily reset the user password and execute a full account takeover via a replay attack. |
| An Improper Neutralization of Data within XPath Expressions ('XPath Injection') vulnerability in J-Web shipped with Juniper Networks Junos OS allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to execute remote commands on the target device.
While an administrator is logged into a J-Web session or has previously logged in and subsequently logged out of their J-Web session, the attacker can arbitrarily execute commands on the target device with the other user's credentials. In the worst case, the attacker will have full control over the device.
This issue affects Junos OS:
* All versions before 21.2R3-S8,
* from 21.4 before 21.4R3-S7,
* from 22.2 before 22.2R3-S4,
* from 22.3 before 22.3R3-S3,
* from 22.4 before 22.4R3-S2,
