CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability has been found in Ugreen DH2100+ up to 5.3.0. This affects an unknown function of the component USB Handler. Such manipulation leads to symlink following. The attack can be executed directly on the physical device. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component. |
| Spin is the developer tool for building and running serverless applications powered by WebAssembly. Prior to 2.4.3, some specifically configured Spin applications that use `self` requests without a specified URL authority can be induced to make requests to arbitrary hosts via the `Host` HTTP header. The following conditions need to be met for an application to be vulnerable: 1. The environment Spin is deployed in routes requests to the Spin runtime based on the request URL instead of the `Host` header, and leaves the `Host` header set to its original value; 2. The Spin application's component handling the incoming request is configured with an `allow_outbound_hosts` list containing `"self"`; and 3. In reaction to an incoming request, the component makes an outbound request whose URL doesn't include the hostname/port. Spin 2.4.3 has been released to fix this issue. |
| XSS Attack in mar.jar, Monitoring Archive Utility (MAR Utility), monitoringconsolecommon.jar in TIBCO Software Inc TIBCO Hawk and TIBCO Operational Intelligence |
| A vulnerability in OTRS Application Server and reverse proxy settings allows session hijacking due to missing attributes for sensitive cookie settings in HTTPS sessions.
This issue affects:
* OTRS 7.0.X
* OTRS 8.0.X
* OTRS 2023.X
* OTRS 2024.X |
| Arbitrary file overwrite during home directory recovery due to improper symbolic link handling. The following products are affected: Acronis Backup plugin for cPanel & WHM (Linux) before build 1.8.4.866, Acronis Backup plugin for cPanel & WHM (Linux) before build 1.9.1.892, Acronis Backup extension for Plesk (Linux) before build 1.8.7.615. |
| Overview
XML documents optionally contain a Document Type Definition (DTD), which, among other features, enables the definition of XML entities. It is possible to define an entity by providing a substitution string in the form of a URI. Once the content of the URI is read, it is fed back into the application that is processing the XML. This application may echo back the data (e.g. in an error message), thereby exposing the file contents. (CWE-611)
Description
Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server versions before 10.2.0.2, including 9.3.x and 8.3.x, do not correctly protect Pentaho Data Integration MessageSourceCrawler against out-of-band XML External Entity Reference.
Impact
By submitting an XML file that defines an external entity with a file:// URI, an attacker can cause the processing application to read the contents of a local file. Using URIs with other schemes such as http://, the attacker can force the application to make outgoing requests to servers that the attacker cannot reach directly, which can be used to bypass firewall restrictions or hide the source of attacks such as port scanning. |
| We found a vulnerability Improper Restriction of XML External Entity Reference (CWE-611) in NB-series NX-Designer. Attackers may be able to abuse this vulnerability to disclose confidential data on a computer. |
| Rack::Session is a session management implementation for Rack. In versions starting from 2.0.0 to before 2.1.1, when using the Rack::Session::Pool middleware, and provided the attacker can acquire a session cookie (already a major issue), the session may be restored if the attacker can trigger a long running request (within that same session) adjacent to the user logging out, in order to retain illicit access even after a user has attempted to logout. This issue has been patched in version 2.1.1. |
| Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key, Externally Controlled Reference to a Resource in Another Sphere, Improper Authorization vulnerability in Patika Global Technologies HumanSuite allows Exploiting Trust in Client.This issue affects HumanSuite: before 53.21.0. |
| This vulnerability exists in Digisol DG-GR6821AC Router due to misconfiguration of both Secure and HttpOnly flags on session cookies associated with the router web interface. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by capturing the session cookies transmitted over an unsecure HTTP connection.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow the attacker to obtain sensitive information from the targeted device. |
| Sangfor Behavior Management System (also referred to as DC Management System in Chinese-language documentation) contains an XML external entity (XXE) injection vulnerability in the /src/sangforindex endpoint. A remote unauthenticated attacker can submit crafted XML data containing external entity definitions, leading to potential disclosure of internal files, server-side request forgery (SSRF), or other impacts depending on parser behavior. The vulnerability is due to improper configuration of the XML parser, which allows resolution of external entities without restriction. This product is now integrated into their IAM (Internet Access Management) platform and an affected version range is undefined. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2023-09-06 UTC. |
| An XML external entity (XXE) vulnerability was found in Stilog Visual Planning 8. It allows an authenticated attacker to access local server files and exfiltrate data to an external server. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in COMOS V10.3 (All versions < V10.3.3.5.8), COMOS V10.4.0 (All versions), COMOS V10.4.1 (All versions), COMOS V10.4.2 (All versions), COMOS V10.4.3 (All versions < V10.4.3.0.47), COMOS V10.4.4 (All versions < V10.4.4.2), COMOS V10.4.4.1 (All versions < V10.4.4.1.21). The Generic Data Mapper, the Engineering Adapter, and the Engineering Interface improperly handle XML External Entity (XXE) entries when parsing configuration and mapping files. This could allow an attacker to extract any file with a known location on the user's system or accessible network folders by persuading a user to use a maliciously crafted configuration or mapping file in one of the affected components. |
| Using Codex CLI in workspace-write mode inside a malicious context (repo, directory, etc) could lead to arbitrary file overwrite and potentially remote code execution due to symlinks being followed outside the allowed current working directory. |
| An issue was discovered in LemonLDAP::NG before 2.0.12. There is a missing expiration check in the OAuth2.0 handler, i.e., it does not verify access token validity. An attacker can use a expired access token from an OIDC client to access the OAuth2 handler The earliest affected version is 2.0.4. |
| A flaw was found in Keycloak. An offline session continues to be valid when the offline_access scope is removed from the client. The refresh token is accepted and you can continue to request new tokens for the session. As it can lead to a situation where an administrator removes the scope, and assumes that offline sessions are no longer available, but they are. |
| The HL7 FHIR IG publisher is a tool to take a set of inputs and create a standard FHIR IG. Prior to version 1.7.4, XSLT transforms performed by various components are vulnerable to XML external entity injections. A processed XML file with a malicious DTD tag `( ]>` could produce XML containing data from the host system. This impacts use cases where org.hl7.fhir.publisher is being used to within a host where external clients can submit XML. A previous release provided an incomplete solution revealed by new testing. This issue has been patched as of version 1.7.4. No known workarounds are available. |
| unstructured v.0.14.2 and before is vulnerable to XML External Entity (XXE) via the XMLParser. |
| IoT Haat Smart Plug IH-IN-16A-S IH-IN-16A-S v5.16.1 suffers from Insufficient Session Expiration. The lack of validation of the authentication token at the IoT Haat during the Access Point Pairing mode leads the attacker to replay the Wi-Fi packets and forcefully turn off the access point after the authentication token has expired. |
| Lantronix Provisioning Manager is vulnerable to XML external entity attacks in configuration files supplied by network devices, leading to unauthenticated remote code execution on hosts with Provisioning Manager installed. |
