| The Starfish Review Generation & Marketing for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data that can lead to privilege escalation due to a missing capability check on the 'srm_restore_options_defaults' function in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.19. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to update arbitrary options on the WordPress site. This can be leveraged to update the default role for registration to administrator and enable user registration for attackers to gain administrative user access to a vulnerable site. |
| An improper authorization vulnerability in Dremio Software allows authenticated users to delete arbitrary files that the system has access to, including system files and files stored in remote locations such as S3, Azure Blob Storage, and local filesystems. This vulnerability exists due to insufficient access controls on an API endpoint, enabling any authenticated user to specify and delete files outside their intended scope. Exploiting this flaw could lead to data loss, denial of service (DoS), and potential escalation of impact depending on the deleted files.

| The OTP-less one tap Sign in plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation via account takeover in versions 2.0.14 to 2.0.59. This is due to the plugin not properly validating a user's identity prior to updating their details, like email. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to change arbitrary users' email addresses, including administrators, and leverage that to reset the user's password and gain access to their account.
Additionally, the plugin returns authentication cookies in the response, which can be used to access the account directly. |
