CVSS v3.1 |
| Improper access control in Calibre 6.9.0 ~ 7.14.0 allow unauthenticated attackers to achieve remote code execution. |
| In ProFTPD through 1.3.8b before cec01cc, supplemental group inheritance grants unintended access to GID 0 because of the lack of supplemental groups from mod_sql. |
| An Improper Authorization vulnerability was identified in the EOL OVA based connect component which is deployed for installation purposes in the customer internal network. Under certain conditions, this could allow a bad actor to gain unauthorized access to the local db containing weakly hashed credentials of the installer. This EOL component was deprecated in September 2023 with end of support extended till January 2024. |
| An issue in Flipsnack v.18/03/2024 allows a local attacker to obtain sensitive information via the reader.gz.js file. |
| An issue was discovered in the Masquerade module before 1.x-1.0.1 for Backdrop CMS. It allows people to temporarily switch to another user account. The module provides a "Masquerade as admin" permission to restrict people (who can masquerade) from switching to an account with administrative privileges. This permission is not always honored and may allow non-administrative users to masquerade as an administrator. This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that an attacker must have a role with the "Masquerade as user" permission. |
| A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco ISE could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to modify parts of the configuration on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to the lack of server-side validation of Administrator permissions. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted HTTP request to an affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to modify descriptions of files on a specific page. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would need valid read-only Administrator credentials. |
| A Local Code Execution Vulnerability exists in the product and version listed above. The vulnerability is due to a default setting in Windows and allows access to the Command Prompt as a higher privileged user. |
| The Sparkle framework includes a helper tool Autoupdate. Due to lack of authentication of connecting clients a local unprivileged attacker can request installation of crafted malicious PKG file by racing to connect to the daemon when other app spawns it as root. This results in local privilege escalation to root privileges. It is worth noting that it is possible to spawn Autopudate manually via Installer XPC service. However this requires the victim to enter credentials upon system authorization dialog creation that can be modified by the attacker.
This issue was fixed in version 2.7.2 |
| V-SOL GPON/EPON OLT Platform v2.03 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows normal users to gain administrative access by manipulating the user role parameter. Attackers can send a crafted HTTP POST request to the user management endpoint with 'user_role_mod' set to integer value '1' to elevate their privileges. |
| The FileWave Windows client before 16.0.0, in some non-default configurations, allows an unprivileged local user to escalate privileges to SYSTEM. |
| This vulnerability exists in the CAP back office application due to improper authorization checks on certain API endpoints. An authenticated remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by manipulating API request URL to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts. |
| In Pritunl Client before 1.3.4220.57, an administrator with access to /Applications can escalate privileges after uninstalling the product. Specifically, an administrator can insert a new file at the pathname of the removed pritunl-service file. This file then is executed by a LaunchDaemon as root. |
| In Click Studios Passwordstate before build 9920, there is a potential permission escalation on the edit folder screen. |
| Fujitsu / Fsas Technologies iRMC S6 on M5 before 1.37S mishandles Redfish/WebUI access if the length of a username is exactly 16 characters. |
| A vulnerability exists in the NodeRestriction admission controller where nodes can bypass dynamic resource allocation authorization checks. When the DynamicResourceAllocation feature gate is enabled, the controller properly validates resource claim statuses during pod status updates but fails to perform equivalent validation during pod creation. This allows a compromised node to create mirror pods that access unauthorized dynamic resources, potentially leading to privilege escalation. |
| A vulnerability was found in BlueChi, a multi-node systemd service controller used in RHIVOS. This flaw allows a user with root privileges on a managed node (qm) to create or override systemd service unit files that affect the host node. This issue can lead to privilege escalation, unauthorized service execution, and potential system compromise. |
| iDS6 DSSPro Digital Signage System 6.2 contains an improper access control vulnerability that allows authenticated users to elevate privileges through console JavaScript functions. Attackers can create users, modify roles and permissions, and potentially achieve full application takeover by exploiting insecure direct object references. |
| In GRAU DATA Blocky before 3.1, Blocky-Gui has a Client-Side Enforcement of Server-Side Security vulnerability. An attacker with Windows administrative or debugging privileges can patch a binary in memory or on disk to bypass the password login requirement and gain full access to all functions of the program. |
| System File Deletion vulnerabilities in ASPECT provide attackers access to delete system files if session administrator credentials become compromised.
This issue affects ASPECT-Enterprise: through 3.08.03; NEXUS Series: through 3.08.03; MATRIX Series: through 3.08.03. |
| Open Policy Agent (OPA) is an open source, general-purpose policy engine. Prior to version 1.4.0, when run as a server, OPA exposes an HTTP Data API for reading and writing documents. Requesting a virtual document through the Data API entails policy evaluation, where a Rego query containing a single data document reference is constructed from the requested path. This query is then used for policy evaluation. A HTTP request path can be crafted in a way that injects Rego code into the constructed query. The evaluation result cannot be made to return any other data than what is generated by the requested path, but this path can be misdirected, and the injected Rego code can be crafted to make the query succeed or fail; opening up for oracle attacks or, given the right circumstances, erroneous policy decision results. Furthermore, the injected code can be crafted to be computationally expensive, resulting in a Denial Of Service (DoS) attack. This issue has been patched in version 1.4.0. A workaround involves having network access to OPA’s RESTful APIs being limited to `localhost` and/or trusted networks, unless necessary for production reasons. |
