CVSS v3.1 |
| Hush Line is an open-source whistleblower management system. Starting in version 0.1.0 and prior to version 0.3.5, the productions server appeared to have been misconfigured and missed providing any content security policy or security headers. This could result in bypassing of cross-site scripting filters. Version 0.3.5 fixed the issue. |
| Pinecone is an experimental overlay routing protocol suite which is the foundation of the current P2P Matrix demos. The Pinecone Simulator (pineconesim) included in Pinecone up to commit ea4c337 is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting. The payload storage is not permanent and will be wiped when restarting pineconesim. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mtd: spi-nor: Fix shift-out-of-bounds in spi_nor_set_erase_type
spi_nor_set_erase_type() was used either to set or to mask out an erase
type. When we used it to mask out an erase type a shift-out-of-bounds
was hit:
UBSAN: shift-out-of-bounds in drivers/mtd/spi-nor/core.c:2237:24
shift exponent 4294967295 is too large for 32-bit type 'int'
The setting of the size_{shift, mask} and of the opcode are unnecessary
when the erase size is zero, as throughout the code just the erase size
is considered to determine whether an erase type is supported or not.
Setting the opcode to 0xFF was wrong too as nobody guarantees that 0xFF
is an unused opcode. Thus when masking out an erase type, just set the
erase size to zero. This will fix the shift-out-of-bounds.

| An unauthenticated OS command injection vulnerability exists in the Shenzhen Aitemi M300 Wi-Fi Repeater (hardware model MT02) via the 'time' parameter of the '/protocol.csp?' endpoint. The input is processed by the internal date '-s' command without rebooting or disrupting HTTP service. Unlike other injection points, this vector allows remote compromise without triggering visible configuration changes. |
| Unquoted Search Path or Element vulnerability in OpenTextâ„¢ Service Manager.Â
The vulnerability could allow a user to gain SYSTEM privileges through Privilege Escalation.
This issue affects Service Manager: 9.70, 9.71, 9.72. |
| A bug exists in the API, mesh_node_power_off(), which fails to copy the contents of the Replay Protection
List (RPL) from RAM to NVM before powering down, resulting in the ability to replay unsaved messages. Note that as of June 2024, the Gecko SDK was renamed to the Simplicity SDK, and the versioning scheme
was changed from Gecko SDK vX.Y.Z to Simplicity SDK YYYY.MM.Patch#. |
| The ReadFile endpoint of the firmware for Mennekes Smart / Premium Chargingpoints can be abused to read arbitrary files from the underlying OS. |
| Playloom Engine is an open-source, high-performance game development engine. Engine Beta v0.0.1 has a security vulnerability related to data storage, specifically when using the collaboration features. When collaborating with another user, they may have access to personal information you have entered into the software. This poses a risk to user privacy. The maintainers of Playloom Engine have temporarily disabled the collaboration feature until a fix can be implemented. When Engine Beta v0.0.2 is released, it is expected to contain a patch addressing this issue. Users should refrain from using the collaboration feature in the meantime. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
btrfs: zoned: fix memory leak after finding block group with super blocks
At exclude_super_stripes(), if we happen to find a block group that has
super blocks mapped to it and we are on a zoned filesystem, we error out
as this is not supposed to happen, indicating either a bug or maybe some
memory corruption for example. However we are exiting the function without
freeing the memory allocated for the logical address of the super blocks.
Fix this by freeing the logical address. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fuse: missing copy_finish in fuse-over-io-uring argument copies
Fix a possible reference count leak of payload pages during
fuse argument copies.
[Joanne: simplified error cleanup] |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: tls: avoid hanging tasks on the tx_lock
syzbot sent a hung task report and Eric explains that adversarial
receiver may keep RWIN at 0 for a long time, so we are not guaranteed
to make forward progress. Thread which took tx_lock and went to sleep
may not release tx_lock for hours. Use interruptible sleep where
possible and reschedule the work if it can't take the lock.
Testing: existing selftest passes |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
udp_tunnel: use netdev_warn() instead of netdev_WARN()
netdev_WARN() uses WARN/WARN_ON to print a backtrace along with
file and line information. In this case, udp_tunnel_nic_register()
returning an error is just a failed operation, not a kernel bug.
udp_tunnel_nic_register() can fail due to a memory allocation
failure (kzalloc() or udp_tunnel_nic_alloc()).
This is a normal runtime error and not a kernel bug.
Replace netdev_WARN() with netdev_warn() accordingly. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iomap: adjust read range correctly for non-block-aligned positions
iomap_adjust_read_range() assumes that the position and length passed in
are block-aligned. This is not always the case however, as shown in the
syzbot generated case for erofs. This causes too many bytes to be
skipped for uptodate blocks, which results in returning the incorrect
position and length to read in. If all the blocks are uptodate, this
underflows length and returns a position beyond the folio.
Fix the calculation to also take into account the block offset when
calculating how many bytes can be skipped for uptodate blocks. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: ymfpci: Create card with device-managed snd_devm_card_new()
snd_card_ymfpci_remove() was removed in commit c6e6bb5eab74 ("ALSA:
ymfpci: Allocate resources with device-managed APIs"), but the call to
snd_card_new() was not replaced with snd_devm_card_new().
Since there was no longer a call to snd_card_free, unloading the module
would eventually result in Oops:

| The Login with phone number plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authentication bypass in versions up to, and including, 1.7.26. This is due to the 'activation_code' default value is empty, and the not empty check is missing in the 'lwp_ajax_register' function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as any existing user on the site, such as an administrator, if they have access to the user email. The vulnerability is patched in version 1.7.26, but there is an issue in the patch that causes the entire function to not work, and this issue is fixed in version 1.7.27. |
| Metabase is an open-source data analytics platform. For new sandboxing configurations created in 1.52.0 till 1.52.2.4, sandboxed users are able to see field filter values from other sandboxed users. This is fixed in 1.52.2.5. Users on 1.52.0 or 1.52.1 or 1.5.2 should upgrade to 1.52.2.5. There are no workarounds for this issue aside from upgrading. |
| @jmondi/url-to-png is an open source URL to PNG utility featuring parallel rendering using Playwright for screenshots and with storage caching via Local, S3, or CouchDB. Input of the `ImageId` in the code is not sanitized and may lead to path traversal. This allows an attacker to store an image in an arbitrary location that the server has permission to access. This issue has been addressed in version 2.1.2 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
|
| In Thermo Fisher Scientific Xcalibur before 4.7 SP1 and Thermo Foundation Instrument Control Software (ICSW) before 3.1 SP10, the driver packages have a local privilege escalation vulnerability due to improper access control permissions on Windows systems. |
| @jmondi/url-to-png is an open source URL to PNG utility featuring parallel rendering using Playwright for screenshots and with storage caching via Local, S3, or CouchDB. The package includes an `ALLOW_LIST` where the host can specify which services the user is permitted to capture screenshots of. By default, capturing screenshots of web services running on localhost, 127.0.0.1, or the [::] is allowed. If someone hosts this project on a server, users could then capture screenshots of other web services running locally. This issue has been addressed in version 2.1.1 with the addition of a blocklist. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| The Parsi Date plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting due to the use of add_query_arg without appropriate escaping on the URL in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.1. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. |
