CVSS v3.1 |
The LifterLMS – WP LMS for eLearning, Online Courses, & Quizzes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation. This is due to the plugin not properly validating a user's identity prior to allowing them to modify their own role via the REST API. The permission check in the update_item_permissions_check() function returns true when a user updates their own account without verifying the role changes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with student-level access and above, to escalate their privileges to administrator by updating their own roles array via a crafted REST API request. Another endpoint intended for instructors also provides an attack vector. Affected version ranges are 3.5.3-3.41.2, 4.0.0-4.21.3, 5.0.0-5.10.0, 6.0.0-6.11.0, 7.0.0-7.8.7, 8.0.0-8.0.7, 9.0.0-9.0.7, 9.1.0.
An authenticated user without user-management permissions could view other users account information.
An issue in DataLife Engine v.17.1 and before is vulnerable to SQL Injection in dboption.
An authenticated attacker can maliciously modify layout data files in the SEL-5033 installation directory to execute arbitrary code.
Genexis Platinum-4410 P4410-V2-1.31A contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the 'start_addr' parameter of the Security Management interface. Attackers can inject malicious scripts through the start source address field that will persist and trigger for privileged users when they access the security management page.
An unrestricted upload of file with dangerous type vulnerability in the course management function of Wisdom Master Pro versions 5.0 through 5.2 allows remote authenticated users to craft a malicious file.
Flags SDK is an open-source feature flags toolkit for Next.js and SvelteKit. Impacted versions include flags from 3.2.0 and prior and @vercel/flags from 3.1.1 and prior as certain circumstances allows a bad actor with detailed knowledge of the vulnerability to list all flags returned by the flags discovery endpoint (.well-known/vercel/flags). This vulnerability allows for information disclosure, where a bad actor could gain access to a list of all feature flags exposed through the flags discovery endpoint, including the flag names, flag descriptions, available options and their labels (e.g. true, false), and default flag values. This issue has been patched in flags@4.0.0, users of flags and @vercel/flags should also migrate to flags@4.0.0.
The macOS Rocket.Chat application is affected by a vulnerability that allows bypassing Transparency, Consent, and Control (TCC) policies, enabling the exploitation or abuse of permissions specified in its entitlements (e.g., microphone, camera, automation, network client). Since Rocket.Chat was not signed with the Hardened Runtime nor set to enforce Library Validation, it is vulnerable to DYLIB injection attacks, which can lead to unauthorized actions or escalation of permissions. Consequently, an attacker gains capabilities that are not permitted by default under the Sandbox and its application profile.
Easy Cart Shopping Cart 2021 contains a non-persistent cross-site scripting vulnerability in the search module's keyword parameter. Remote attackers can inject malicious script code through the search input to compromise user sessions and manipulate application content.
DD-WRT version 45723 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the UPNP network discovery service that allows remote attackers to potentially execute arbitrary code. Attackers can send crafted M-SEARCH packets with oversized UUID payloads to trigger buffer overflow conditions on the target device.
Disk Sorter Server 13.6.12 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in its binary path configuration that allows local attackers to potentially execute arbitrary code. Attackers can exploit the unquoted path in 'C:\Program Files\Disk Sorter Server\bin\disksrs.exe' to inject malicious executables and escalate privileges.
Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type vulnerability in CMSSuperHeroes Clanora clanora allows Using Malicious Files.This issue affects Clanora: from n/a through < 1.3.1.
Digital Crime Report Management System 1.0 contains a critical SQL injection vulnerability affecting multiple login pages that allows unauthenticated attackers to bypass authentication. Attackers can exploit the vulnerability by sending crafted SQL injection payloads in email and password parameters across police, incharge, user, and HQ login endpoints.
Improper handling of WiFi information by framework services can allow certain malicious applications to obtain sensitive information.
Improper control of framework service permissions with possibility of some sensitive device information leakage.
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Hunan Zhonghe Baiyi Information Technology Baiyiyun Asset Management and Operations System up to 20250217. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file /wuser/anyUserBoundHouse.php. The manipulation of the argument huid leads to sql injection. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
Multiple plugins for WordPress are vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's bundled SimpleLightbox JavaScript library (version 2.1.5) in various versions due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
An issue was discovered on Mercusys MW325R EU V3 MW325R(EU)_V3_1.11.0 221019 devices. A WAN attacker can make the admin interface unreachable/invisible via an unauthenticated HTTP request. Verification of the data sent by the user does not occur. The web server does not crash, but the admin interface becomes invisible, because the files necessary to display the content are no longer available. A reboot of the router is typically required to restore the correct behavior.
The Mister org.mistergroup.shouldianswer application 1.4.264 for Android enables any installed application (with no permissions) to place phone calls without user interaction by sending a crafted intent via the org.mistergroup.shouldianswer.ui.default_dialer.DefaultDialerActivity component.
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ntfs: set dummy blocksize to read boot_block when mounting
When mounting, sb->s_blocksize is used to read the boot_block without
being defined or validated. Set a dummy blocksize before attempting to
read the boot_block.
The issue can be triggered with the following syz reproducer:
mkdirat(0xffffffffffffff9c, &(0x7f0000000080)='./file1\x00', 0x0)
r4 = openat$nullb(0xffffffffffffff9c, &(0x7f0000000040), 0x121403, 0x0)
ioctl$FS_IOC_SETFLAGS(r4, 0x40081271, &(0x7f0000000980)=0x4000)
mount(&(0x7f0000000140)=@nullb, &(0x7f0000000040)='./cgroup\x00',
&(0x7f0000000000)='ntfs3\x00', 0x2208004, 0x0)
syz_clone(0x88200200, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0)
Here, the ioctl sets the bdev block size to 16384. During mount,
get_tree_bdev_flags() calls sb_set_blocksize(sb, block_size(bdev)),
but since block_size(bdev) > PAGE_SIZE, sb_set_blocksize() leaves
sb->s_blocksize at zero.
Later, ntfs_init_from_boot() attempts to read the boot_block while
sb->s_blocksize is still zero, which triggers the bug.
