CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability has been found in code-projects Simple IT Discussion Forum 1.0. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file /edit-category.php of the component Parameter Handler. The manipulation of the argument cat_id leads to sql injection. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in Teampass versions prior to 3.1.5.16, affecting the password manager's password import functionality at the endpoint 'redacted/index.php?page=items'. The application fails to properly sanitize and encode user-input data during the import process, allowing malicious JavaScript payloads to be persistently stored in the database. When other users view the imported passwords, the payload is automatically executed in their browsers, resulting in a stored XSS condition at the endpoint 'redacted/index.php?page=items'. Exploiting this vulnerability allows an attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the context of multiple users and the administrator, which can lead to session hijacking, credential theft, privilege abuse, and compromise of application integrity. |
| Blind Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in Teampass, versions prior to 3.1.5.16, within the password manager login functionality in the 'contraseña' parameter of the login form 'redacted/index.php'. During failed authentication attempts, the application does not properly clean or encode the information entered by the user in the username field. As a result, arbitrary JavaScript code is automatically executed in the administrator's browser when viewing failed login entries, resulting in a blind XSS condition. |
| Further research determined the issue does not satisfy the assignment rules. |
| A security flaw has been discovered in Totolink A7100RU 7.4cu.2313_b20191024. Impacted is the function CsteSystem of the file /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi. Performing a manipulation of the argument resetFlags results in os command injection. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Erlang OTP (ssh_sftpd module) allows Path Traversal.
This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/ssh/src/ssh_sftpd.erl and program routines ssh_sftpd:is_within_root/2.
The SFTP server uses string prefix matching via lists:prefix/2 rather than proper path component validation when checking if a path is within the configured root directory. This allows authenticated users to access sibling directories that share a common name prefix with the configured root directory. For example, if root is set to /home/user1, paths like /home/user10 or /home/user1_backup would incorrectly be considered within the root.
This issue affects OTP from OTP 17.0 until OTP 28.4.1, OTP 27.3.4.9 and OTP 26.2.5.18, corresponding to ssh from 3.0.1 until 5.5.1, 5.2.11.6 and 5.1.4.14. |
| Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request Smuggling') vulnerability in Erlang OTP (inets httpd module) allows HTTP Request Smuggling.
This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/inets/src/http_server/httpd_request.erl and program routines httpd_request:parse_headers/7.
The server does not reject or normalize duplicate Content-Length headers. The earliest Content-Length in the request is used for body parsing while common reverse proxies (nginx, Apache httpd, Envoy) honor the last Content-Length value. This violates RFC 9112 Section 6.3 and allows front-end/back-end desynchronization, leaving attacker-controlled bytes queued as the start of the next request.
This issue affects OTP from OTP 17.0 until OTP 28.4.1, OTP 27.3.4.9 and OTP 26.2.5.18, corresponding to inets from 5.10 until 9.6.1, 9.3.2.3 and 9.1.0.5. |
| XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability in esaml (and its forks) allows an attacker to cause the system to read local files and incorporate their contents into processed SAML documents, and potentially perform SSRF via crafted SAML messages.
esaml parses attacker-controlled SAML messages using xmerl_scan:string/2 before signature verification without disabling XML entity expansion. On Erlang/OTP versions before 27, Xmerl allows entities by default, enabling pre-signature XXE attacks. An attacker can cause the host to read local files (e.g., Kubernetes-mounted secrets) into the SAML document. If the attacker is not a trusted SAML SP, signature verification will fail and the document is discarded, but file contents may still be exposed through logs or error messages.
This issue affects all versions of esaml, including forks by arekinath, handnot2, and dropbox. Users running on Erlang/OTP 27 or later are not affected due to Xmerl defaulting to entities disabled. |
| Improper Handling of Highly Compressed Data (Compression Bomb) vulnerability in Erlang OTP ssh (ssh_transport modules) allows Denial of Service via Resource Depletion.
The SSH transport layer advertises legacy zlib compression by default and inflates attacker-controlled payloads pre-authentication without any size limit, enabling reliable memory exhaustion DoS.
Two compression algorithms are affected:
* zlib: Activates immediately after key exchange, enabling unauthenticated attacks
* zlib@openssh.com: Activates post-authentication, enabling authenticated attacks
Each SSH packet can decompress ~255 MB from 256 KB of wire data (1029:1 amplification ratio). Multiple packets can rapidly exhaust available memory, causing OOM kills in memory-constrained environments.
This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/ssh/src/ssh_transport.erl and program routines ssh_transport:decompress/2, ssh_transport:handle_packet_part/4.
This issue affects OTP from OTP 17.0 until OTP 28.4.1, 27.3.4.9 and 26.2.5.18 corresponding to ssh from 3.0.1 until 5.5.1, 5.2.11.6 and 5.1.4.14. |
| The issue was addressed with improved bounds checks. This issue is fixed in iOS 18.7.5 and iPadOS 18.7.5, iOS 26.2 and iPadOS 26.2, macOS Sequoia 15.7.4, macOS Sonoma 14.8.4, macOS Tahoe 26.2, tvOS 26.2, visionOS 26.2, watchOS 26.2. A malicious HID device may cause an unexpected process crash. |
| A path traversal vulnerability was identified TP-Link Tapo C260 v1, D235 v1 and C520WS v2.6 within the HTTP server’s handling of GET requests. The server performs path normalization before fully decoding URL encoded input and falls back to using the raw path when normalization fails. An attacker can exploit this logic flaw by supplying crafted, URL encoded traversal sequences that bypass directory restrictions and allow access to files outside the intended web root.
Successful exploitation may allow authenticated attackers to get disclosure of sensitive system files and credentials, while unauthenticated attackers may gain access to non-sensitive static assets. |
| A vulnerability was found in Cyber-III Student-Management-System up to 1a938fa61e9f735078e9b291d2e6215b4942af3f. This issue affects the function move_uploaded_file of the file /AssignmentSection/submission/upload.php. Performing a manipulation of the argument File results in unrestricted upload. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. Continious delivery with rolling releases is used by this product. Therefore, no version details of affected nor updated releases are available. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| DO NOT USE THIS CVE RECORD. ConsultIDs: none. Reason: This record was withdrawn by its CNA. Further investigation showed that it was not a security issue. Notes: none. |
| TranzAxis 3.2.41.10.26 allows authenticated users to inject cross-site scripting via the `Open Object in Tree` endpoint, allowing attackers to steal session cookies and potentially escalate privileges. |
| An unauthenticated arbitrary file upload vulnerability exists in Tiki Wiki CMS Groupware version 15.1 and earlier via the ELFinder component's default connector (connector.minimal.php), which allows remote attackers to upload and execute malicious PHP scripts in the context of the web server. The vulnerable component does not enforce file type validation, allowing attackers to craft a POST request to upload executable PHP payloads through the ELFinder interface exposed at /vendor_extra/elfinder/. |
| An authenticated remote code execution vulnerability exists in Pandora FMS version 7.0NG and earlier. The net_tools.php functionality allows authenticated users to execute arbitrary OS commands via the select_ips parameter when performing network tools operations, such as pinging. This occurs because user input is not properly sanitized before being passed to system commands, enabling command injection. |
| Bolt CMS versions 3.7.0 and earlier contain a chain of vulnerabilities that together allow an authenticated user to achieve remote code execution. A user with valid credentials can inject arbitrary PHP code into the displayname field of the user profile, which is rendered unsanitized in backend templates. The attacker can then list and rename cached session files via the /async/browse/cache/.sessions and /async/folder/rename endpoints. By renaming a .session file to a path under the publicly accessible /files/ directory with a .php extension, the attacker can turn the injected code into an executable web shell. Finally, the attacker triggers the payload via a crafted HTTP GET request to the rogue file.
NOTE: The vendor announced that Bolt 3 reached end-of-life after 31 December 2021. |
| An authenticated remote code execution vulnerability exists in NSClient++ version 0.5.2.35 when the web interface and ExternalScripts module are enabled. A remote attacker with the administrator password can authenticate to the web interface (default port 8443), inject arbitrary commands as external scripts via the /settings/query.json API, save the configuration, and trigger the script via the /query/{name} endpoint. The injected commands are executed with SYSTEM privileges, enabling full remote compromise.
This capability is an intended feature, but the lack of safeguards or privilege separation makes it risky when exposed to untrusted actors. |
| A local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in NSClient++ 0.5.2.35 when both the web interface and ExternalScripts features are enabled. The configuration file (nsclient.ini) stores the administrative password in plaintext and is readable by local users. By extracting this password, an attacker can authenticate to the NSClient++ web interface (typically accessible on port 8443) and abuse the ExternalScripts plugin to inject and execute arbitrary commands as SYSTEM by registering a custom script, saving the configuration, and triggering it via the API.
This behavior is documented but insecure, as the plaintext credential exposure undermines access isolation between local users and administrative functions. |
| An OS command injection vulnerability exists in white-labeled DVRs manufactured by TVT, affecting a custom HTTP service called "Cross Web Server" that listens on TCP ports 81 and 82. The web interface fails to sanitize input in the URI path passed to the language extraction functionality. When the server processes a request to /language/[lang]/index.html, it uses the [lang] input unsafely in a tar extraction command without proper escaping. This allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to inject shell commands and achieve arbitrary command execution as root. Exploitation evidence was observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2025-02-06 UTC. |
