CVSS v3.1 |
| Decidim is a participatory democracy framework. The pagination feature used in searches and filters is subject to potential XSS attack through a malformed URL using the GET parameter `per_page`. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.27.6 and 0.28.1.

| Deno is a runtime for JavaScript and TypeScript written in rust. Several cross-site scripting vulnerabilities existed in the `deno_doc` crate which lead to Self-XSS with deno doc --html. 1.) XSS in generated `search_index.js`, `deno_doc` outputs a JavaScript file for searching. However, the generated file used `innerHTML` on unsanitzed HTML input. 2.) XSS via property, method and enum names, `deno_doc` did not sanitize property names, method names and enum names. The first XSS most likely didn't have an impact since `deno doc --html` is expected to be used locally with own packages. |
| The Episerver Content Management System (CMS) by Optimizely was affected by multiple Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities. This allowed an authenticated attacker to execute malicious JavaScript code in the victim's browser.
The Admin dashboard offered the functionality to add gadgets to the dashboard.
This included the "Notes" gadget. An authenticated attacker with the corresponding
access rights (such as "WebAdmin") that was impersonating the victim could insert
malicious JavaScript code in these notes that would be executed if the victim
visited the dashboard.
Affected products: Version 11.X: EPiServer.CMS.Core (<11.21.4) with EPiServer.CMS.UI (<11.37.5), Version 12.X: EPiServer.CMS.Core (<12.22.1) with EPiServer.CMS.UI (<11.37.3) |
| silverstripe-asset-admin is a silverstripe assets gallery for asset management. When using the "insert media" functionality, the linked oEmbed JSON includes an HTML attribute which will replace the embed shortcode. The HTML is not sanitized before replacing the shortcode, allowing a script payload to be executed on both the CMS and the front-end of the website. This issue has been addressed in silverstripe/framework version 5.3.8 and users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| A vulnerability has been found in VIWIS LMS 9.11 and classified as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the component File Upload. The manipulation of the argument filename leads to cross site scripting. The attack can be launched remotely. Upgrading to version 9.12 is able to address this issue. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. |
| phlex is an open source framework for building object-oriented views in Ruby. There is a potential cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that can be exploited via maliciously crafted user data. The filter to detect and prevent the use of the `javascript:` URL scheme in the `href` attribute of an `<a>` tag could be bypassed with tab `\t` or newline `\n` characters between the characters of the protocol, e.g. `java\tscript:`. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.10.1, 1.9.2, 1.8.3, 1.7.2, 1.6.3, 1.5.3, and 1.4.2. Configuring a Content Security Policy that does not allow `unsafe-inline` would effectively prevent this vulnerability from being exploited. |
| CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') |
| Vitess is a database clustering system for horizontal scaling of MySQL. The /debug/querylogz and /debug/env pages for vtgate and vttablet do not properly escape user input. The result is that queries executed by Vitess can write HTML into the monitoring page at will. These pages are rendered using text/template instead of rendering with a proper HTML templating engine. This vulnerability is fixed in 21.0.1, 20.0.4, and 19.0.8. |
| The Follow Us Badges plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's wpsite_follow_us_badges shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.10 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| KUNO CMS is a fully deployable full-stack blog application. Versions 1.3.13 and below contain validation flaws in its file upload functionality that can be exploited for stored XSS. The upload endpoint only validates file types based on Content-Type headers, lacks file content analysis and extension whitelist restrictions, allowing attackers to upload SVG files containing malicious scripts (disguised as images). When users access the uploaded resource pages, arbitrary JavaScript executes in their browsers. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.14. |
| The Versa Director SD-WAN orchestration platform allows customization of the user interface, including the header, footer, and logo. However, the input provided for these customizations is not properly validated or sanitized, allowing a malicious user to inject and store cross-site scripting (XSS) payloads.
Exploitation Status:
Versa Networks is not aware of any reported instance where this vulnerability was exploited. Proof of concept for this vulnerability has been disclosed by third party security researchers.
Workarounds or Mitigation:
There are no workarounds to disable the GUI option. Versa recommends that Director be upgraded to one of the remediated software versions. |
| Multiple XSS (CWE-79) |
| CWE-798: Use of Hard-coded Credentials |
| The WC1C plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting due to the use of add_query_arg without appropriate escaping on the URL in all versions up to, and including, 0.23.0. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. |
| The WC Builder – WooCommerce Page Builder for WPBakery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'heading_color' parameter (and multiple other styling parameters) of the `wpbforwpbakery_product_additional_information` shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Shop Manager-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| The Slickstream: Engagement and Conversions plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's slick-grid shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| RICOH Web Image Monitor 1.09 contains an HTML injection vulnerability in the address configuration CGI script that allows attackers to inject malicious HTML code. Attackers can exploit the entryNameIn and entryDisplayNameIn parameters to insert arbitrary HTML content, potentially enabling cross-site scripting attacks. |
| whapa v1.59 is vulnerable to Command Injection via a crafted filename to the HTML reports component. |
| The Guest posting / Frontend Posting wordpress plugin – WP Front User Submit / Front Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via form settings in all versions up to, and including, 4.4.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level permissions and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This only affects multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled. |
| AVE System Web Client v2.1.131.13992 was discovered to contain a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. |
