CVE-2023-6476 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform 2025-11-20 6.5 Medium
A flaw was found in CRI-O that involves an experimental annotation leading to a container being unconfined. This may allow a pod to specify and get any amount of memory/cpu, circumventing the kubernetes scheduler and potentially resulting in a denial of service in the node.
CVE-2020-25720 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Storage 2025-11-20 7.5 High
A vulnerability was found in Samba where a delegated administrator with permission to create objects in Active Directory can write to all attributes of the newly created object, including security-sensitive attributes, even after the object's creation. This issue occurs because the administrator owns the object due to the lack of an Access Control List (ACL) at the time of creation and later being recognized as the 'creator owner.' The retained significant rights of the delegated administrator may not be well understood, potentially leading to unintended privilege escalation or security risks.
CVE-2024-5154 2 Kubernetes, Redhat 4 Cri-o, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more 2025-11-20 8.1 High
A flaw was found in cri-o. A malicious container can create a symbolic link to arbitrary files on the host via directory traversal (“../“). This flaw allows the container to read and write to arbitrary files on the host system.
CVE-2025-5791 1 Redhat 4 Confidential Compute Attestation, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more 2025-11-20 7.1 High
A flaw was found in the user's crate for Rust. This vulnerability allows privilege escalation via incorrect group listing when a user or process has fewer than exactly 1024 groups, leading to the erroneous inclusion of the root group in the access list.
CVE-2025-0650 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2025-11-20 8.1 High
A flaw was found in the Open Virtual Network (OVN). Specially crafted UDP packets may bypass egress access control lists (ACLs) in OVN installations configured with a logical switch with DNS records set on it and if the same switch has any egress ACLs configured. This issue can lead to unauthorized access to virtual machines and containers running on the OVN network.
CVE-2024-3154 1 Redhat 1 Openshift 2025-11-20 7.2 High
A flaw was found in cri-o, where an arbitrary systemd property can be injected via a Pod annotation. Any user who can create a pod with an arbitrary annotation may perform an arbitrary action on the host system.
CVE-2024-11218 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Ironic and 4 more 2025-11-20 8.6 High
A vulnerability was found in `podman build` and `buildah.` This issue occurs in a container breakout by using --jobs=2 and a race condition when building a malicious Containerfile. SELinux might mitigate it, but even with SELinux on, it still allows the enumeration of files and directories on the host.
CVE-2024-1753 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel Eus 2025-11-20 8.6 High
A flaw was found in Buildah (and subsequently Podman Build) which allows containers to mount arbitrary locations on the host filesystem into build containers. A malicious Containerfile can use a dummy image with a symbolic link to the root filesystem as a mount source and cause the mount operation to mount the host root filesystem inside the RUN step. The commands inside the RUN step will then have read-write access to the host filesystem, allowing for full container escape at build time.
CVE-2024-1139 1 Redhat 2 Acm, Openshift 2025-11-20 7.7 High
A credentials leak vulnerability was found in the cluster monitoring operator in OCP. This issue may allow a remote attacker who has basic login credentials to check the pod manifest to discover a repository pull secret.
CVE-2024-1485 2 Devfile, Redhat 4 Registry-support, Ocp Tools, Openshift and 1 more 2025-11-20 8 High
A flaw was found in the decompression function of registry-support. This issue can be triggered if an unauthenticated remote attacker tricks a user into parsing a devfile which uses the `parent` or `plugin` keywords. This could download a malicious archive and cause the cleanup process to overwrite or delete files outside of the archive, which should not be allowed.
CVE-2024-10963 1 Redhat 4 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Ai and 1 more 2025-11-20 7.4 High
A flaw was found in pam_access, where certain rules in its configuration file are mistakenly treated as hostnames. This vulnerability allows attackers to trick the system by pretending to be a trusted hostname, gaining unauthorized access. This issue poses a risk for systems that rely on this feature to control who can access certain services or terminals.
CVE-2024-9675 2 Buildah Project, Redhat 21 Buildah, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 18 more 2025-11-20 7.8 High
A vulnerability was found in Buildah. Cache mounts do not properly validate that user-specified paths for the cache are within our cache directory, allowing a `RUN` instruction in a Container file to mount an arbitrary directory from the host (read/write) into the container as long as those files can be accessed by the user running Buildah.
CVE-2024-11614 1 Redhat 6 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel Aus and 3 more 2025-11-20 N/A
An out-of-bounds read vulnerability was found in DPDK's Vhost library checksum offload feature. This issue enables an untrusted or compromised guest to crash the hypervisor's vSwitch by forging Virtio descriptors to cause out-of-bounds reads. This flaw allows an attacker with a malicious VM using a virtio driver to cause the vhost-user side to crash by sending a packet with a Tx checksum offload request and an invalid csum_start offset.
CVE-2025-54771 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2025-11-19 4.9 Medium
A use-after-free vulnerability has been identified in the GNU GRUB (Grand Unified Bootloader). The flaw occurs because the file-closing process incorrectly retains a memory pointer, leaving an invalid reference to a file system structure. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause grub to crash, leading to a Denial of Service. Possible data integrity or confidentiality compromise is not discarded.
CVE-2025-61664 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2025-11-19 4.9 Medium
A vulnerability in the GRUB2 bootloader has been identified in the normal module. This flaw, a memory Use After Free issue, occurs because the normal_exit command is not properly unregistered when its related module is unloaded. An attacker can exploit this condition by invoking the command after the module has been removed, causing the system to improperly access a previously freed memory location. This leads to a system crash or possible impacts in data confidentiality and integrity.
CVE-2025-61662 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2025-11-19 4.9 Medium
A Use-After-Free vulnerability has been discovered in GRUB's gettext module. This flaw stems from a programming error where the gettext command remains registered in memory after its module is unloaded. An attacker can exploit this condition by invoking the orphaned command, causing the application to access a memory location that is no longer valid. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause grub to crash, leading to a Denial of Service. Possible data integrity or confidentiality compromise is not discarded.
CVE-2025-54770 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2025-11-19 4.9 Medium
A vulnerability has been identified in the GRUB2 bootloader's network module that poses an immediate Denial of Service (DoS) risk. This flaw is a Use-after-Free issue, caused because the net_set_vlan command is not properly unregistered when the network module is unloaded from memory. An attacker who can execute this command can force the system to access memory locations that are no longer valid. Successful exploitation leads directly to system instability, which can result in a complete crash and halt system availability
CVE-2025-61663 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2025-11-19 4.9 Medium
A vulnerability has been identified in the GRUB2 bootloader's normal command that poses an immediate Denial of Service (DoS) risk. This flaw is a Use-after-Free issue, caused because the normal command is not properly unregistered when the module is unloaded. An attacker who can execute this command can force the system to access memory locations that are no longer valid. Successful exploitation leads directly to system instability, which can result in a complete crash and halt system availability. Impact on the data integrity and confidentiality is also not discarded.
CVE-2025-61661 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2025-11-19 4.8 Medium
A vulnerability has been identified in the GRUB (Grand Unified Bootloader) component. This flaw occurs because the bootloader mishandles string conversion when reading information from a USB device, allowing an attacker to exploit inconsistent length values. A local attacker can connect a maliciously configured USB device during the boot sequence to trigger this issue. A successful exploitation may lead GRUB to crash, leading to a Denial of Service. Data corruption may be also possible, although given the complexity of the exploit the impact is most likely limited.
CVE-2024-45783 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2025-11-19 4.4 Medium
A flaw was found in grub2. When failing to mount an HFS+ grub, the hfsplus filesystem driver doesn't properly set an ERRNO value. This issue may lead to a NULL pointer access.
