CVE-2014-3940 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Mrg 2025-04-12 N/A
The Linux kernel through 3.14.5 does not properly consider the presence of hugetlb entries, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (memory corruption or system crash) by accessing certain memory locations, as demonstrated by triggering a race condition via numa_maps read operations during hugepage migration, related to fs/proc/task_mmu.c and mm/mempolicy.c.
CVE-2015-8839 3 Canonical, Linux, Redhat 5 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 2 more 2025-04-12 5.1 Medium
Multiple race conditions in the ext4 filesystem implementation in the Linux kernel before 4.5 allow local users to cause a denial of service (disk corruption) by writing to a page that is associated with a different user's file after unsynchronized hole punching and page-fault handling.
CVE-2014-2672 2 Linux, Redhat 4 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Mrg and 1 more 2025-04-12 N/A
Race condition in the ath_tx_aggr_sleep function in drivers/net/wireless/ath/ath9k/xmit.c in the Linux kernel before 3.13.7 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (system crash) via a large amount of network traffic that triggers certain list deletions.
CVE-2023-21771 1 Microsoft 3 Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2022 2025-04-12 7 High
Windows Local Session Manager (LSM) Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability
CVE-2022-2583 1 Gobase Project 1 Gobase 2025-04-11 3.7 Low
A race condition can cause incorrect HTTP request routing.
CVE-2022-46174 2 Amazon, Redhat 3 Efs-utils, Elastic File System Container Storage Interface Driver, Openshift 2025-04-11 4.2 Medium
efs-utils is a set of Utilities for Amazon Elastic File System (EFS). A potential race condition issue exists within the Amazon EFS mount helper in efs-utils versions v1.34.3 and below. When using TLS to mount file systems, the mount helper allocates a local port for stunnel to receive NFS connections prior to applying the TLS tunnel. In affected versions, concurrent mount operations can allocate the same local port, leading to either failed mount operations or an inappropriate mapping from an EFS customer’s local mount points to that customer’s EFS file systems. This issue is patched in version v1.34.4. There is no recommended work around. We recommend affected users update the installed version of efs-utils to v1.34.4 or later.
CVE-2010-1123 1 Chip Salzenberg 1 Deliver 2025-04-11 N/A
Chip Salzenberg Deliver does not properly associate a lockfile with the user who created the file, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (blockage of incoming e-mail) by creating lockfiles for arbitrary mailboxes.
CVE-2011-2482 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2025-04-11 7.5 High
A certain Red Hat patch to the sctp_sock_migrate function in net/sctp/socket.c in the Linux kernel before 2.6.21, as used in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and OOPS) via a crafted SCTP packet.
CVE-2010-0489 1 Microsoft 7 Internet Explorer, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 Server and 4 more 2025-04-11 N/A
Race condition in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 SP4, 6, 6 SP1, and 7 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTML document that triggers memory corruption, aka "Race Condition Memory Corruption Vulnerability."
CVE-2011-0753 1 Php 1 Php 2025-04-11 N/A
Race condition in the PCNTL extension in PHP before 5.3.4, when a user-defined signal handler exists, might allow context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a large number of concurrent signals.
CVE-2011-3878 1 Google 1 Chrome 2025-04-11 N/A
Race condition in Google Chrome before 15.0.874.102 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via vectors related to worker process initialization.
CVE-2009-5011 1 G.rodola 1 Pyftpdlib 2025-04-11 N/A
Race condition in the FTPHandler class in ftpserver.py in pyftpdlib before 0.5.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (daemon outage) by establishing and then immediately closing a TCP connection, leading to the getpeername function having an ENOTCONN error, a different vulnerability than CVE-2010-3494.
CVE-2010-5169 2 Emisoft, Microsoft 2 Online Armor, Windows Xp 2025-04-11 7 High
Race condition in Online Armor Premium 4.0.0.35 on Windows XP allows local users to bypass kernel-mode hook handlers, and execute dangerous code that would otherwise be blocked by a handler but not blocked by signature-based malware detection, via certain user-space memory changes during hook-handler execution, aka an argument-switch attack or a KHOBE attack. NOTE: this issue is disputed by some third parties because it is a flaw in a protection mechanism for situations where a crafted program has already begun to execute
CVE-2013-1271 1 Microsoft 5 Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 and 2 more 2025-04-11 N/A
Race condition in win32k.sys in the kernel-mode drivers in Microsoft Windows XP SP2 and SP3, Windows Server 2003 SP2, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 SP2, R2, and R2 SP1, and Windows 7 Gold and SP1 allows local users to gain privileges, and consequently read the contents of arbitrary kernel memory locations, via a crafted application, a different vulnerability than other CVEs listed in MS13-016.
CVE-2014-1921 1 Parcimonie Project 1 Parcimonie 2025-04-11 N/A
parcimonie before 0.8.1, when using a large keyring, sleeps for the same amount of time between fetches, which allows attackers to correlate key fetches via unspecified vectors.
CVE-2014-1447 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Libvirt 2025-04-11 N/A

Race condition in McAfee Total Protection 2010 10.0.580 on Windows XP allows local users to bypass kernel-mode hook handlers, and execute dangerous code that would otherwise be blocked by a handler but not blocked by signature-based malware detection, via certain user-space memory changes during hook-handler execution, aka an argument-switch attack or a KHOBE attack. NOTE: this issue is disputed by some third parties because it is a flaw in a protection mechanism for situations where a crafted program has already begun to execute
