CVSS v3.1 |
| league/commonmark is a PHP Markdown parser. A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Attributes extension of the league/commonmark library (versions 1.5.0 through 2.6.x) allows remote attackers to insert malicious JavaScript calls into HTML. The league/commonmark library provides configuration options such as `html_input: 'strip'` and `allow_unsafe_links: false` to mitigate cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks by stripping raw HTML and disallowing unsafe links. However, when the Attributes Extension is enabled, it introduces a way for users to inject arbitrary HTML attributes into elements via Markdown syntax using curly braces. Version 2.7.0 contains three changes to prevent this XSS attack vector: All attributes starting with `on` are considered unsafe and blocked by default; support for an explicit allowlist of allowed HTML attributes; and manually-added `href` and `src` attributes now respect the existing `allow_unsafe_links` configuration option. If upgrading is not feasible, please consider disabling the `AttributesExtension` for untrusted users and/or filtering the rendered HTML through a library like HTMLPurifier. |
| Symfony UX is an initiative and set of libraries to integrate JavaScript tools into applications. Prior to version 2.25.1, rendering `{{ attributes }}` or using any method that returns a `ComponentAttributes` instance (e.g. `only()`, `defaults()`, `without()`) ouputs attribute values directly without escaping. If these values are unsafe (e.g. contain user input), this can lead to HTML attribute injection and XSS vulnerabilities. The issue is fixed in version `2.25.1` of `symfony/ux-twig-component` Those who use `symfony/ux-live-component` must also update it to `2.25.1` to benefit from the fix, as it reuses the `ComponentAttributes` class internally. As a workaround, avoid rendering `{{ attributes }}` or derived objects directly if it may contain untrusted values.
Instead, use `{{ attributes.render('name') }}` for safe output of individual attributes. |
| The Slider and Carousel slider by Depicter plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘addExtraMimeType’ function in versions up to, and including, 3.2.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level permissions and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (XSS or 'Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Saysis Computer Systems Trade Ltd. Co. StarCities allows Reflected XSS.This issue affects StarCities: before 1.1.61. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (XSS or 'Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in The Wikimedia Foundation MediaWiki CookieConsent extension allows Cross-Site Scripting (XSS).This issue affects MediaWiki CookieConsent extension: from v0.1.0 before v2.0.0. |
| CKAN is an open-source DMS (data management system) for powering data hubs and data portals. Using a specially crafted file, a user could potentially upload a file containing code that when executed could send arbitrary requests to the server. If that file was opened by an administrator, it could lead to escalation of privileges of the original submitter or other malicious actions. Users must have been registered to the site to exploit this vulnerability. This vulnerability has been fixed in CKAN 2.10.7 and 2.11.2. Users are advised to upgrade. On versions prior to CKAN 2.10.7 and 2.11.2, site maintainers can restrict the file types supported for uploading using the `ckan.upload.user.mimetypes` / `ckan.upload.user.types` and `ckan.upload.group.mimetypes` / `ckan.upload.group.types` config options. To entirely disable file uploads users can use: `ckan.upload.user.types = none` |
| A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Expressway Series could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to conduct a cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against a user of the interface.
This vulnerability exists because the web-based management interface does not properly validate user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by persuading a user of the interface to click a crafted link. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary script code in the context of the affected interface or access sensitive, browser-based information.
Note: Cisco Expressway Series refers to Cisco Expressway Control (Expressway-C) devices and Cisco Expressway Edge (Expressway-E) devices. |
| The Widget or Sidebar Shortcode plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'sidebar' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 0.6.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| The Elastik Page Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via SVG File uploads in all versions up to, and including, 0.27.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses the SVG file. |
| The T(-) Countdown plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'tminus' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| The R Animated Icon Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via SVG File uploads in all versions up to, and including, 1.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses the SVG file. |
| Use of hard-coded credentials issue exists in ZWX-2000CSW2-HN prior to 0.3.19 and ZWX-2000CS2-HN firmware all versions. If this vulnerability is exploited, an attacker may tamper with the settings of the device by obtaining the credentials. This vulnerability is caused by an insufficient fix for CVE-2024-39838. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in CoSchedule Headline Analyzer headline-analyzer allows Stored XSS.This issue affects Headline Analyzer: from n/a through <= 1.3.7. |
| The SKU Generator for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting due to the use of add_query_arg without appropriate escaping on the URL in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.2. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Themepoints Tab Ultimate tabs-pro.This issue affects Tab Ultimate: from n/a through <= 1.8. |
| A stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the Access Control of ADM, the issue allows an attacker to inject malicious scripts into the folder name field while creating a new shared folder. These scripts are not properly sanitized and will be executed when the folder name is subsequently displayed in the user interface. This allows attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of another user's session, potentially accessing session cookies or other sensitive data.
Affected products and versions include: from ADM 4.1.0 to ADM 4.3.3.RH61 as well as ADM 5.0.0.RIN1 and earlier. |
