CVE-2026-26156 1 Microsoft 25 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 22 more 2026-04-24 7.8 High
Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Hyper-V allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally.
CVE-2026-28214 1 Firebirdsql 1 Firebird 2026-04-24 6.5 Medium
Firebird is an open-source relational database management system. In versions prior to 5.0.4, 4.0.7 and 3.0.14, the ClumpletReader::getClumpletSize() function can overflow the totalLength value when parsing a Wide type clumplet, causing an infinite loop. An authenticated user with INSERT privileges on any table can exploit this via a crafted Batch Parameter Block to cause a denial of service against the server. This issue has been fixed in versions 5.0.4, 4.0.7 and 3.0.14.
CVE-2026-23354 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-24 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/fred: Correct speculative safety in fred_extint() array_index_nospec() is no use if the result gets spilled to the stack, as it makes the believed safe-under-speculation value subject to memory predictions. For all practical purposes, this means array_index_nospec() must be used in the expression that accesses the array. As the code currently stands, it's the wrong side of irqentry_enter(), and 'index' is put into %ebp across the function call. Remove the index variable and reposition array_index_nospec(), so it's calculated immediately before the array access.
CVE-2026-0930 2 Wolfssh, Wolfssl 2 Wolfssh, Wolfssh 2026-04-24 4.3 Medium
Potential read out of bounds case with wolfSSHd on Windows while handling a terminal resize request. An authenticated user could trigger the out of bounds read after establishing a connection which would leak the adjacent stack memory to the pseudo-console output.
CVE-2026-33602 1 Powerdns 1 Dnsdist 2026-04-24 6.5 Medium
A rogue backend can send a crafted UDP response with a query ID off by one related to the maximum configured value, triggering an out-of-bounds write leading to a denial of service.
CVE-2026-33599 1 Powerdns 1 Dnsdist 2026-04-24 3.1 Low
A rogue backend can send a crafted SVCB response to a Discovery of Designated Resolvers request, when requested via either the autoUpgrade (Lua) option to newServer or auto_upgrade (YAML) settings. DDR upgrade is not enabled by default.
CVE-2026-33598 1 Powerdns 1 Dnsdist 2026-04-24 4.8 Medium
A cached crafted response can cause an out-of-bounds read if custom Lua code calls getDomainListByAddress() or getAddressListByDomain() on a packet cache.
CVE-2026-33597 1 Powerdns 1 Dnsdist 2026-04-24 3.7 Low
PRSD detection denial of service
CVE-2026-33596 1 Powerdns 1 Dnsdist 2026-04-24 3.1 Low
A client might theoretically be able to cause a mismatch between queries sent to a backend and the received responses by sending a flood of perfectly timed queries that are routed to a TCP-only or DNS over TLS backend.
CVE-2026-23363 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-24 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: mt7925: Fix possible oob access in mt7925_mac_write_txwi_80211() Check frame length before accessing the mgmt fields in mt7925_mac_write_txwi_80211 in order to avoid a possible oob access.
CVE-2026-23365 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-24 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: usb: kalmia: validate USB endpoints The kalmia driver should validate that the device it is probing has the proper number and types of USB endpoints it is expecting before it binds to it. If a malicious device were to not have the same urbs the driver will crash later on when it blindly accesses these endpoints.
CVE-2026-23388 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-24 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Squashfs: check metadata block offset is within range Syzkaller reports a "general protection fault in squashfs_copy_data" This is ultimately caused by a corrupted index look-up table, which produces a negative metadata block offset. This is subsequently passed to squashfs_copy_data (via squashfs_read_metadata) where the negative offset causes an out of bounds access. The fix is to check that the offset is within range in squashfs_read_metadata. This will trap this and other cases.
CVE-2026-23387 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-24 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pinctrl: cirrus: cs42l43: Fix double-put in cs42l43_pin_probe() devm_add_action_or_reset() already invokes the action on failure, so the explicit put causes a double-put.
CVE-2026-23386 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-24 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gve: fix incorrect buffer cleanup in gve_tx_clean_pending_packets for QPL In DQ-QPL mode, gve_tx_clean_pending_packets() incorrectly uses the RDA buffer cleanup path. It iterates num_bufs times and attempts to unmap entries in the dma array. This leads to two issues: 1. The dma array shares storage with tx_qpl_buf_ids (union). Interpreting buffer IDs as DMA addresses results in attempting to unmap incorrect memory locations. 2. num_bufs in QPL mode (counting 2K chunks) can significantly exceed the size of the dma array, causing out-of-bounds access warnings (trace below is how we noticed this issue). UBSAN: array-index-out-of-bounds in drivers/net/ethernet/drivers/net/ethernet/google/gve/gve_tx_dqo.c:178:5 index 18 is out of range for type 'dma_addr_t[18]' (aka 'unsigned long long[18]') Workqueue: gve gve_service_task [gve] Call Trace: <TASK> dump_stack_lvl+0x33/0xa0 __ubsan_handle_out_of_bounds+0xdc/0x110 gve_tx_stop_ring_dqo+0x182/0x200 [gve] gve_close+0x1be/0x450 [gve] gve_reset+0x99/0x120 [gve] gve_service_task+0x61/0x100 [gve] process_scheduled_works+0x1e9/0x380 Fix this by properly checking for QPL mode and delegating to gve_free_tx_qpl_bufs() to reclaim the buffers.
CVE-2026-23406 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-24 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: apparmor: fix side-effect bug in match_char() macro usage The match_char() macro evaluates its character parameter multiple times when traversing differential encoding chains. When invoked with *str++, the string pointer advances on each iteration of the inner do-while loop, causing the DFA to check different characters at each iteration and therefore skip input characters. This results in out-of-bounds reads when the pointer advances past the input buffer boundary. CVE-2026-23390 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-24 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing/dma: Cap dma_map_sg tracepoint arrays to prevent buffer overflow The dma_map_sg tracepoint can trigger a perf buffer overflow when tracing large scatter-gather lists. With devices like virtio-gpu creating large DRM buffers, nents can exceed 1000 entries, resulting in: phys_addrs: 1000 * 8 bytes = 8,000 bytes dma_addrs: 1000 * 8 bytes = 8,000 bytes lengths: 1000 * 4 bytes = 4,000 bytes Total: ~20,000 bytes This exceeds PERF_MAX_TRACE_SIZE (8192 bytes), causing: WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 5497 at kernel/trace/trace_event_perf.c:405 perf buffer not large enough, wanted 24620, have 8192 Cap all three dynamic arrays at 128 entries using min() in the array size calculation. This ensures arrays are only as large as needed (up to the cap), avoiding unnecessary memory allocation for small operations while preventing overflow for large ones. The tracepoint now records the full nents/ents counts and a truncated flag so users can see when data has been capped. Changes in v2: - Use min(nents, DMA_TRACE_MAX_ENTRIES) for dynamic array sizing instead of fixed DMA_TRACE_MAX_ENTRIES allocation (feedback from Steven Rostedt) - This allocates only what's needed up to the cap, avoiding waste for small operations Reviwed-by: Sean Anderson <sean.anderson@linux.dev>
CVE-2026-28386 1 Openssl 1 Openssl 2026-04-24 9.1 Critical
Issue summary: Applications using AES-CFB128 encryption or decryption on systems with AVX-512 and VAES support can trigger an out-of-bounds read of up to 15 bytes when processing partial cipher blocks. Impact summary: This out-of-bounds read may trigger a crash which leads to Denial of Service for an application if the input buffer ends at a memory page boundary and the following page is unmapped. There is no information disclosure as the over-read bytes are not written to output. The vulnerable code path is only reached when processing partial blocks (when a previous call left an incomplete block and the current call provides fewer bytes than needed to complete it). Additionally, the input buffer must be positioned at a page boundary with the following page unmapped. CFB mode is not used in TLS/DTLS protocols, which use CBC, GCM, CCM, or ChaCha20-Poly1305 instead. For these reasons the issue was assessed as Low severity according to our Security Policy. Only x86-64 systems with AVX-512 and VAES instruction support are affected. Other architectures and systems without VAES support use different code paths that are not affected. OpenSSL FIPS module in 3.6 version is affected by this issue.
CVE-2026-34481 1 Apache 2 Log4j, Log4j Layout Template Json 2026-04-24 7.5 High
Apache Log4j's JsonTemplateLayout https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/json-template-layout.html , in versions up to and including 2.25.3, produces invalid JSON output when log events contain non-finite floating-point values (NaN, Infinity, or -Infinity), which are prohibited by RFC 8259. This may cause downstream log processing systems to reject or fail to index affected records. An attacker can exploit this issue only if both of the following conditions are met: * The application uses JsonTemplateLayout. * The application logs a MapMessage containing an attacker-controlled floating-point value. Users are advised to upgrade to Apache Log4j JSON Template Layout 2.25.4, which corrects this issue.
CVE-2026-34480 1 Apache 1 Log4j 2026-04-24 7.5 High
Apache Log4j Core's XmlLayout https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/layouts.html#XmlLayout , in versions up to and including 2.25.3, fails to sanitize characters forbidden by the XML 1.0 specification https://www.w3.org/TR/xml/#charsets producing invalid XML output whenever a log message or MDC value contains such characters. The impact depends on the StAX implementation in use: * JRE built-in StAX: Forbidden characters are silently written to the output, producing malformed XML. Conforming parsers must reject such documents with a fatal error, which may cause downstream log-processing systems to drop the affected records. * Alternative StAX implementations (e.g., Woodstox https://github.com/FasterXML/woodstox , a transitive dependency of the Jackson XML Dataformat module): An exception is thrown during the logging call, and the log event is never delivered to its intended appender, only to Log4j's internal status logger. Users are advised to upgrade to Apache Log4j Core 2.25.4, which corrects this issue by sanitizing forbidden characters before XML output.
CVE-2026-41332 1 Openclaw 1 Openclaw 2026-04-24 5.3 Medium
OpenClaw before 2026.3.28 contains an environment variable sanitization vulnerability where GIT_TEMPLATE_DIR and AWS_CONFIG_FILE are not blocked in the host-env blocklist. Attackers can exploit approved exec requests to redirect git or AWS CLI behavior through attacker-controlled configuration files to execute untrusted code or load malicious credentials.
