| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: memory: pl353-smc: Fix refcount leak bug in pl353_smc_probe() The break of for_each_available_child_of_node() needs a corresponding of_node_put() when the reference 'child' is not used anymore. Here we do not need to call of_node_put() in fail path as '!match' means no break. While the of_platform_device_create() will created a new reference by 'child' but it has considered the refcounting. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nilfs2: fix shift-out-of-bounds/overflow in nilfs_sb2_bad_offset() Patch series "nilfs2: fix UBSAN shift-out-of-bounds warnings on mount time". The first patch fixes a bug reported by syzbot, and the second one fixes the remaining bug of the same kind. Although they are triggered by the same super block data anomaly, I divided it into the above two because the details of the issues and how to fix it are different. Both are required to eliminate the shift-out-of-bounds issues at mount time. | Dragonfly is an open source P2P-based file distribution and image acceleration system. In versions 2.4.1-rc.0 and below, the Job API endpoints (/api/v1/jobs) lack JWT authentication middleware and RBAC authorization checks in the routing configuration. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpu: host1x: Fix memory leak of device names The device names allocated by dev_set_name() need be freed before module unloading, but they can not be freed because the kobject's refcount which was set in device_initialize() has not be decreased to 0. As comment of device_add() says, if it fails, use only put_device() drop the refcount, then the name will be freed in kobejct_cleanup(). device_del() and put_device() can be replaced with device_unregister(), so call it to unregister the added successfully devices, and just call put_device() to the not added device. Add a release() function to device to avoid null release() function WARNING in device_release(), it's empty, because the context devices are freed together in host1x_memory_context_list_free(). | ||||

| Runtipi is a Docker-based, personal homeserver orchestrator that facilitates multiple services on a single server. Versions 3.7.0 and above allow an authenticated user to execute arbitrary system commands on the host server by injecting shell metacharacters into backup filenames. The BackupManager fails to sanitize the filenames of uploaded backups. The system persists user-uploaded files directly to the host filesystem using the raw originalname provided in the request. This allows an attacker to stage a file containing shell metacharacters (e.g., $(id).tar.gz) at a predictable path, which is later referenced during the restore process. The successful storage of the file is what allows the subsequent restore command to reference and execute it. This issue has been fixed in version 4.7.0. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: usb-audio: Fix potential memory leaks When the driver hits -ENOMEM at allocating a URB or a buffer, it aborts and goes to the error path that releases the all previously allocated resources. However, when -ENOMEM hits at the middle of the sync EP URB allocation loop, the partially allocated URBs might be left without released, because ep->nurbs is still zero at that point. Fix it by setting ep->nurbs at first, so that the error handler loops over the full URB list. | ||||
